SMALL GROUPS
Sunday School Classes
Sunday School classes provide an opportunity to study the Word of God in a small group setting on Sunday mornings in conjunction with our Sunday morning worship services. Our intent is to actively engage people in purposeful and in-depth study of God’s Word. Sunday School classes help achieve this goal and will produce opportunities for spiritual growth, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and personal evangelism.
Sunday School classes are available at both 9:30 am and 11 am and include groups for men, women, all adults, young adults, and parents of school-age children.

Psalm 23 by Matt Chandler
A study group for men
Many people are familiar with Psalm 23. But because we all know it, we often breeze through the psalm without slowing down long enough to rest in the assurance it offers. In this 6-part series on Psalm 23, pastor Matt Chandler introduces us to the great shepherd, the Lord, who promises to provide for every need of his flock. Though only six verses long, this psalm teaches us profound truths about our loving and protective God. By studying Psalm 23, we’ll encounter a life-transforming question: Do you trust the Lord to care for your needs?

Life Without Lack: Living in the Fullness of Psalm 23 by Dallas Willard
A Bible study for women
Learn the secret of living with contentment, peace, and security. Pause for a moment and ask yourself what your life would be like if it were completely without fear? If you did not fear death. If you did not fear life and what it might bring. If you did not fear any man, or woman, or any living creature. Would you live differently?
In this unique work of never-before-published teaching, Dallas Willard revolutionizes our understanding of Psalm 23 by taking this comfortably familiar passage and revealing its extraordinary promises: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.... I will fear no evil.” The psalmist claims to live without any need and without any fear. How is that possible? Written with Willard’s characteristic gentle wisdom, Life Without Lack reveals the secret to enjoying God’s presence and becoming utterly caught up in his abundant generosity. The more we practice living in his presence, the more we experience the peace and freedom from worry that is promised in the psalm. Based on a series of talks by the late author and edited by his friend Larry Burtoft and by his daughter, Rebecca Willard Heatley, Life Without Lack will forever change the way you understand and apply the most well-known passage in all of Scripture.

Starting Point: A Conversation About Faith
A discussion for those hoping to 'start' or 're-start' their faith
Everything has a starting point. Sometimes we forget that faith has a starting point, too. For some of us, our faith journeys began in childhood as a set of beliefs handed to us by a parent, teacher, or pastor. Maybe you developed a framework of faith based on personal experience. Or maybe you have no faith at all. What if you could find a new starting point for faith? If you are looking to ‘start’ or ‘restart’ your faith, join us for an eight-week class that will include a video session then a discussion about faith.
Tuesdays at 6:30 pm
Facilitators: Nancy Redding and Kim Raines
Location: WBC Room 210
8 sessions | Begins April 13
Contact Nancy Redding or Kim Raines for more information or to sign up.
If you have any questions or would like information on joining a small group, please contact the Church Office.
