SMALL GROUPS

Sunday School Classes

Sunday School classes provide an opportunity to study the Word of God in a small group setting on Sunday mornings in conjunction with our Sunday morning worship services.  Our intent is to actively engage people in purposeful and in-depth study of God’s Word.  Sunday School classes help achieve this goal and will produce opportunities for spiritual growth, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and personal evangelism.

Sunday School classes are available at both 9:30 am and 11 am and include groups for men, women, all adults, young adults, and parents of school-age children.

Inspired by I Corinthians 2:10, we seek to allow the Holy Spirit to guide our conversations as we seek out the deep things of God and the answers found in Him that our world so deeply longs for.

Get Your Life Back: Everyday Practice for a World Gone Mad
by John Eldredge

A video-based Bible study for women

We live in soul-scorching times. The mad pace of life, the number of demands on our time and energy, and the overwhelming torrent of information coming at us 24-7 have left us all ragged, wrung-out, and emptied. This isn't the life we want, but how do we get off the roller coaster. In this Bible study, John Eldredge provides a practical, simple, and refreshing guide to taking your life back. By practicing a few wonderfully simple practices - or what John calls "graces" - you can begin to recover your soul, disentangle from the tragedies of this broken world, and discover the restorative power of beauty.

Psalm 23 by Matt Chandler

A study group for men

Many people are familiar with Psalm 23. But because we all know it, we often breeze through the psalm without slowing down long enough to rest in the assurance it offers. In this 6-part series on Psalm 23, pastor Matt Chandler introduces us to the great shepherd, the Lord, who promises to provide for every need of his flock. Though only six verses long, this psalm teaches us profound truths about our loving and protective God. By studying Psalm 23, we’ll encounter a life-transforming question: Do you trust the Lord to care for your needs?

Starting Point: A Conversation About Faith

A discussion for those hoping to 'start' or 're-start' their faith

Everything has a starting point. Sometimes we forget that faith has a starting point, too. For some of us, our faith journeys began in childhood as a set of beliefs handed to us by a parent, teacher, or pastor. Maybe you developed a framework of faith based on personal experience. Or maybe you have no faith at all. What if you could find a new starting point for faith? If you are looking to ‘start’ or ‘restart’ your faith, join us for an eight-week class that will include a video session then a discussion about faith.
