Betty Rhodes Prayer Shawl Ministry
We exist to provide Prayer Shawls to the WBC Congregation during times of difficulty, transition, loss, or illness. We provide baby blankets to new babies born into WBC, graduation blankets to high school graduates of WBC, and scarves to the military as special projects. These are handmade, crocheted or knitted pieces that have been prayed over. We ask the Lord to give the recipient courage, strength, and peace. The shawl is to remind recipients of God's love and knowledge that many thoughts and prayers are with the recipient.
We meet once a month - generally the 2nd Tuesday of the month - at 5:30 pm in the Willing Workers room. All yarn is provided and we will teach anyone who would like to join us. You may be a part of this ministry even if you are not able to join us for our meetings.
