Apple Picking – Gift Baskets for HomeReach ^
Leaders: Teresa Hitt and Kristie Beals
Team picks two bushels of apples at Stribling’s Orchard to sort and distribute to HomeReach and others in our community; leader will take some home to cook into apple sauce/butter for later delivery to HomeReach people. Great project for families with young kids.

Blessing Bags for Homeless ^

Clothing Drive – Sorting and Distribution

Help sort clothing on Friday, October 18th, 4 to 7 p.m. Assist with community clothing giveaway in WBC Fellowship Hall on Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. then clean-up.

Community Garden Winterization ^*

Take out and store tomato cages; clean out old plants; clean out drain ditches; till both gardens; winterize equipment (tillers/mowers); general clean up; burn brush; build ramp for wood shed.

Crop Walk with Warrenton Presbyterian Church ^

Raise money to fight hunger by getting others to sponsor you to walk. Walk from Presbyterian church lawn to end of the Warrenton Greenway and back (about 3 miles) on Sunday October 20th. Money raised fights local hunger in Fauquier County and fights worldwide hunger.

Farm to Table Event in Old Town Warrenton ^
