“Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, O LORD my God with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.” Psalm 86:11, 12)
This prayer of David points out a key aspect of preparing for revival…an undivided heart. Are we “head over heels” in love with Jesus? He is more than just a part of your life…He IS your life! Jesus told us that a person could not serve two masters (Matthew 6:24) and encouraged us to make the Kingdom the center of all we seek (Matthew 6:33).
This is the desire of our heavenly Father that we be totally sold out in our commitment to Him. The Scripture even says that, “the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9).
So, lets pray with ALL our hearts today for God to bring revival to our church, our community and our country!
