Today we come to the LORD Almighty again and pray for Him to bring revival to our church, our community and our country. Are you getting tired of reading that? I can’t help but wonder as I write these words over and over each day and, even pray them each day…are they adequate? Are you struggling with what to pray?

Did you know that the Bible tells us that God knows our weaknesses even when it comes to prayer? When we are feeling weak or when we are searching for the right thing to say God understands and helps us. Paul said it this way;

“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And He who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” (Romans 8:26, 27)

So today as you come before the Lord to pray for revival just be still and allow a few moments of silence. He knows your heart. The fact that you have come before Him is pleasing to Him. Let the Spirit intercede for you and thank Him for that.
