Is the heart of your prayer for revival reflected in your conversation with others? Have the last 20 days of prayer begun to make a difference in your other relationships? I believe that spending time in the presence of God on a daily basis should transform every aspect of our life, but especially the way we talk to each other.
In the Scripture, James saw this as a struggle for the believer. He said the tongue was a “restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. From the same mouth come blessing and cursing.” (James 3:8-10).
As we humble ourselves and turn to God with gracious words of mercy and love, let us then turn to the world with the same words of grace. The Apostle Paul said, “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person” (Colossians 4:6).
Pray with all your heart today for God to have mercy and bring revival to our churches, our communities and our country…and let it transform how you interact with those around you!
