As we pray today for revival in our church, community and country let us remember that we are trusting in the LORD to bring a revival among His people. We are praying for something more important than an election. Revival is a supernatural event that has eternal consequences. It calls God’s people to trust in Him and not our own strength. David reminded us in Psalm 20, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.” (Psalm 20:7)
I want to remind you today that even if we trust in the best humanity has to offer we will be severely disappointed. Let the Lord know today that you will trust in Him and allow Him to bestow upon you a peace that is beyond understanding in this world that is often so chaotic.
