Music Ministry in March

First of all I want to thank each of you for your prayers for the staff as we’re going through this transition of losing three staff members within a couple of weeks. You have been so supportive and understanding and we really appreciate it! Delilah is progressing well but it will be some time before she’s ‘up and at ‘em’ on the organ and in the office again. Thankfully, Lynn McNeill was available and stepped in to help in the office until her return. It was a great reunion and I’m so glad to have her here once again! Otto Pebworth has graciously volunteered to fill in on the organ and piano until her return and that has been a wonderful aid to us in worship!

Children’s choirs/missions have finally begun on Sunday evenings and if your child isn’t part of these activities, they are missing a great time! I hope you’ll consider working that into your Sunday schedule. It’s important that your young ones learn to appreciate and lead in worship and to understand and become involved in missions. These are two excellent ways to accomplish that. The Cherub Choir [ages 3- Kindergarten] learns songs, does crafts and has some organized activity time. His Instruments of Praise [grades 1-5] is currently working on the musical “Go, Go, Jonah” and will present it on Sunday, May 19 at 6:00 p.m. We will have a reception following in the Fellowship Hall along with a presentation of the crafts/artwork they have done during this semester.

Please continue to pray for our Pastor Search Team as they continue their search for a Sr. Pastor. This takes much time and prayer and I know they will appreciate your prayer support.

It is a privilege to serve alongside you,
