Adult Bible Studies

   Women's Bible Study

Stay connected throughout the summer by joining our study of Lisa-Jo Baker's new study, We Saved you a Seat.  We will explore our relationship with Jesus as the ultimate model for authentic friendship. Nothing shapes us like the impact of a friend—it’s how Jesus radically and intimately connects with us. So instead of chasing perfection, overcome your fear of being known and find the courage to connect.  We will meet on Wednesday nights (June 14, 21, 28, July 5, 12, August 2, 9) from 7-8 pm at Kim Raines' home (457 Cardinal Lane, Warrenton).  Reserve your spot at kraines@warrentonbaptistchurch.org!

Summer Bible Study

You are invited to participate in a summer Bible Study, Introduction to Spiritual Profiles,  led by Rebecca Hayes. It is based on the book, Spiritual Profiling, How Jesus Interacted with Eight Different Types of People and Why It Matters for You by Tom Hovestol.  During this  6 week study, we will explore how Jesus interacted with different types of people and why he was so effective in his interactions.  We will discuss how we can represent Jesus wisely and well in the lives of people of differing spiritual values, in order to improve our effectiveness at witnessing.

This study will be offered at 1:00pm, on Tuesdays, beginning July 11 and ending August 15.  The location will be at WBC unless one of the participants would like to host it.  Rebecca has also offered to host it.

All of us, as disciples of Christ, are called to share the good news and make disciples.  This is never an easy proposition, even for those with the gift of evangelism.  Join this study to learn how to do this better by making a connection as Jesus did.
